Community Guidelines
aersocial is built around personal messages. That only works when people treat one another with respect.
Every postcard goes to a real person. Before you send something, imagine that person reading it.
Be thoughtful. Be honest. Be respectful. And remember that being behind a screen does not make the person on the other side less real.
Do not use aersocial to harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or repeatedly target another person.
Do not share another person’s private, sensitive or identifying information without a legitimate right or reason to do so.
Do not pretend to be another person or use aersocial to deliberately deceive people about who you are.
Do not use postcards to threaten, exploit, sexually harass or intentionally cause harm to another person.
Do not use aersocial for spam, fraud, unlawful activity, malicious behaviour or attempts to disrupt the service.
If someone makes it clear that they do not want contact from you, respect that boundary.
You can report a postcard that you believe violates these guidelines. Reports help us identify harmful behaviour and protect the people using aersocial.
We may review the reported postcard and related account activity. Depending on what we find, we may take action including removing access, issuing a moderation strike or suspending an account.
aersocial uses a strike-based moderation system for repeated violations.
The first strike remains active for 60 days. Expired strikes remain part of moderation history but no longer count toward the current strike level.
A second strike can be issued while the first strike is still active. The second strike remains active for 90 days from its issue date.
A third strike while the second strike is active results in permanent account suspension.
Write a message worth finding.
