The simple rules that help keep aersocial thoughtful, personal, and safe.
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to aersocial
aersocial is a place for sending and receiving personal messages in the form of digital postcards.
By creating an account or using aersocial, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the service.
1. Using aersocial
You may use aersocial only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You are responsible for the information you provide when creating and maintaining your account. You are also responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.
You must not use another person’s identity, account, Post Box number, or personal information without appropriate permission.
2. Your Post Box
When you use aersocial, you may receive a unique Post Box number.
Your Post Box helps other users send postcards to you. You should treat your Post Box number as a way to reach you on aersocial and should not use it to impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
3. Sending Postcards
You may send postcards to another aersocial user only for appropriate and lawful communication.
You must not use postcards to:
- harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or repeatedly contact someone against their wishes;
- impersonate another person;
- send unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful material;
- distribute malicious code, scams, spam, or deceptive content;
- expose or misuse another person’s private information;
- attempt to bypass a restriction, suspension, or other platform control; or
- interfere with the operation or security of aersocial.
You are responsible for the content of the postcards you send.
4. Content and Moderation
aersocial is built around personal communication, but that does not mean every message is permitted.
We may review, investigate, restrict, remove, or retain content and related information where reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, moderation, legal compliance, or protection of the platform and its users.
Reports may be investigated using the information available to aersocial, including relevant postcard, account, and moderation records.
We may restrict access to the service or take other appropriate action where we believe these Terms or our Guidelines have been violated.
Our Community Guidelines form part of these Terms.
5. Strikes and Suspensions
aersocial uses a progressive moderation system for certain violations.
A first active strike remains active for 60 days.
A second strike may be issued while a first strike is still active. When issued, the second strike remains active for 90 days from the date it is issued.
A third strike issued while a second strike is active may result in permanent suspension of the account.
Expired strikes remain part of moderation history even though they no longer count as active strikes.
Depending on the seriousness of conduct, aersocial may take stronger action without following this progression.
6. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your aersocial account through the account deletion feature.
After a deletion request, your account enters a 30-day recovery period. During this period, you may reactivate the account.
If the account is not reactivated during the recovery period, it may be permanently deleted in accordance with our deletion and retention procedures.
Certain information may need to be retained after deletion for purposes such as safety investigations, abuse prevention, legal obligations, security, or maintaining appropriate platform records. Where appropriate, such information may be restricted, anonymised, or separated from the active user account.
Please also see our Privacy Policy for more information about retention and deletion.
7. Saved Content
aersocial may allow you to save postcards or other content for your own use.
Saved content is intended for the account that saved it and does not create ownership or control over the underlying message or information belonging to another person.
When an account is permanently deleted, associated private saved content may be removed as part of the account deletion process.
8. Intellectual Property
aersocial and its underlying software, design, branding, interface, logos, graphics, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to aersocial unless otherwise stated.
You may use the service only as permitted by these Terms.
You retain whatever rights you may have in content you submit, subject to the rights and permissions necessary for aersocial to operate, deliver, secure, moderate, and improve the service.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, exploit, or commercially use aersocial’s platform materials without appropriate permission.
9. Third-Party Services
aersocial may rely on third-party service providers for hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, security, analytics, payment processing, or other operational functions.
Your use of the service may therefore also be subject to applicable third-party terms or policies.
aersocial is not responsible for services that are independently operated by third parties.
10. Service Availability
We work to keep aersocial available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
We may temporarily suspend, modify, restrict, or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, technical, operational, legal, or other legitimate reasons.
11. Account Restrictions and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate abuse, address security concerns, comply with law, or protect the integrity of aersocial.
We may also restrict access where an account is subject to deletion procedures or other account-status controls.
Where appropriate, information relating to violations may be retained for moderation, safety, legal, or security purposes.
12. Disclaimer
aersocial is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that every message will be delivered, read, preserved, or available indefinitely.
We are not responsible for the conduct, statements, or actions of other users, including content they send through the platform.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, aersocial and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as aersocial develops, our practices change, or legal and regulatory requirements change.
When material changes are made, we may provide notice through appropriate means.
Your continued use of aersocial after updated Terms take effect means that you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in India.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or your use of aersocial will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having appropriate jurisdiction under applicable law.
